The Casino Shoe

All 21 players must change their basic money management techniques against the shoe. It is a much faster game. You must “press" (jump) your bets much quicker and higher against the shoe. The new philosophy will terrify many players, who already shake and tremble when they bet more than $10. But the shoe often runs in winning and losing streaks, so you must press your second bet if you win. That way you'll be in the right position if the shoe takes off on a streak. If you lose, revert to your original bet. If you win the second bet, my money management progression method will take care of you after that, in any country.
Pressing or jumping your bet means that when you win your first you add the amount you originally bet to your second bet. For example: your first bet is $2.00. You win the bet. now getting comps based on sometimes being a $2 slot player. You now add $2.00 more from your own hand to the $4.00 of the winning bet, and are betting $6.00 on the next deal. Pressing bets applies to all of bettors.

Money Management with Casino Country

Money management will vary with the country. I have included a betting guide for each country like casino separately because the foreign currency denominations and limits vary sharply and can have a drastic effect on how you progress your bets. But I've included money management for only certain games, and only for the countries where I think you should play. For some countries, I give no money management system, simply because I would not suggest playing there. For other countries I don't explain how to bet on some games se I don't advise you to play them. If you want to know how to bet, just turn to the pages discussing the country where you're playing and follow the specific betting method there. The $2 player doesn't have to worry much about game limits in foreign casinos, because it would be hard for him to get into trouble. It's the larger bettor who plays $10 or more each hand who must carefully watch the maximum betting limits and the foreign currency.

Boss Stories

A player staying at a Strip hotel RFB is there with the hotel picking up the tab for his room, food, and beverages. This player had booked in for three days. At the end of his stay, he wanted to stay another day. He had lost $6,000. A floor man went to the boss and told him the player wanted to stay another day. The boss said, "Tell him his time is up. He eats too much." The player checked out. Now he stays at another hotel where he loses $40,000 to $50,000 a year. A S 10,000 credit line player was invited to a major Strip hotel as their guest. The hotel picks up RFB and plane fare on big players.
As the player was leaving to go back to New York, he handed the casino manager four first-class plane tickets: himself, his wife, his eight-year-old daughter, and his dog. He said to the casino manager, "Where do I pick up my money for the plane fares?" The casino manager looked at the tickets. He said to the player very quietly: "I will be happy to pick up your and your wife's tickets. But if you can show me what games your daughter and the dog played, I will be more than happy to pick up their air fare."
